Important Information for Families

School Photos

Photographer will be at Karoo on:

Wednesday 11th February (class and individual photos for whole school, siblings and Year 6 Graduation).
Full school uniform required (no sports tops please).
Monday 23rd February (Miscellaneous school groups eg Captains,Student Representative Council and any student absent from first session)
Note: All Sports Captains to wear sports shirts for Sports Captains' photo - all other students in full school school.

School Hats required

A Karoo broad-brimmed or legionnaire's hat is compulsory from mid-August until mid-April, and on days when the UV rating is higher than 3. Students are reminded that they are required to wear their Karoo hat every school day when outside. As part of our Sunsmart Policy, we adopt the policy 'no hat no play'. Hats are required during outdoor PE lessons, sports activities, recess and lunchtimes.

Students who are not wearing a hat will be required to remain undercover in a suitable area protected from the sun. For more information, please refer to our Sunsmart Policy. and Student Dress Code Policy.

Arriving Late? - Late Pass Essential

If your child arrives at school after 9:00am please ensure they come to the office for a late pass. Please do not send them straight to their classroom. Thank you!
