BOOK WEEK

The students had a fantastic time celebrating Book Week in Week 5!

Mrs Capp and our Library Monitors hosted a variety of activities during lunchtime throughout the week including quiet reading, book mark making and buddy reading with their peers. Kindergarten had a wonderful time recreating the book Concrete Garden.

Book Week concluded with our dress up day and parade held on the Thursday. This year's theme 'Reading is Magic' was brought to life by the huge effort everyone put into their costumes. We tumbled into Wonderland with Alice, visited Hogwarts with Harry and his friends, got up to mischief with Thing 1 and Thing 2 and travelled faraway lands with the Disney princesses.

Our Library Monitors did a wonderful job hosting the assembly.
