DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES: 'Sphero Robots' programming

Students in 5/6Q had a blast using Sphero robots to dive into programming for their Digital Technologies unit. The lesson focused on coding and problem-solving as students programmed their Sphero to navigate various challenges. The students were tasked with programming their Spheroes on their Chromebooks and then ventured out to the Multipurpose Court to practice controlling them by adjusting their speed and/or direction. 

The first challenge was to form a starting line and race to see who was the fastest and to loop around Mr Falkiner and then return to the starting line. The excitement was palpable as students worked together, tested their codes, and cheered for their Sphero's success.
