Principal's Report

Term 3, Week 7

Dear St FX Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Week 7! I hope you all enjoyed a lovely family weekend, especially for those who were joining to celebrate our fathers and father figures. I would like to extend my best Father’s Day wishes to you all!

Father’s Day

Thank you to all the family members who were able to join us for our annual Father’s Day Brekky last Friday morning. It was a wonderful turnout and the students really enjoyed having the special men in their lives joining them at school. I would also like to extend my thanks to the P&F volunteers who organised and ran the Father’s Day stall on Friday, as well the families who supported the stall by purchasing Father’s Day gifts.

2025 Kindergarten Transition

This morning, we welcomed our 2025 Kindergarten students to school for their first Kindergarten Transition session. It was wonderful to see so many bright, bubbly and excited faces as they ventured towards the SFX Library to greet Mrs Leitch and Mrs Capp. The teachers were full of praise about the students and noted that the two-hour session flew by! We look forward to seeing our 2025 Kindergarten families again next week for another two-hour session, before the full day sessions begin in Week 9. The full day sessions continue in Week 10 this term, then Weeks 2-4 in Term 4. We look forward to watching these students continue to settle into the idea of 'big school' over the next few weeks.
