Wellbeing:

This term, Year 6 students will participate in a series of wellbeing lessons focused on building respectful relationships and developing the knowledge and skills needed to navigate social situations safely and confidently. As students prepare for the transition to secondary school, they will explore important topics related to identity, relationships, personal boundaries, and seeking support when needed.

Through age-appropriate discussions, activities, and scenarios, students will learn about respectful use of power in relationships, active respect among peers, understanding consent, supporting others as responsible bystanders, and accessing help and support services. The program aims to empower students to develop empathy, critical thinking, communication skills, and a strong understanding of respectful and inclusive relationships.
