Student Leadership Report

Hello again, this is your school captains for your fortnightly update. 

Last Monday we had our whole school athletics. Well done to all students who participated, and a huge thank you to all the volunteers. We couldn’t have done it without you! There are so many people going to the next round. Us school captains loved high jump and the sprints.

Earlier this Wednesday we had a 3-6 soccer tournament. There were 5 teams participating. It was an amazing opportunity. Thank you to the Sports Impact Team for organising the tournament.

Speaking of soccer, our lighting premiership soccer team will be competing in the second round on Tuesday, they are very excited and are ready to represent our school!

On Monday this week the year 5/6's were lucky enough to have an incursion about the  Australian Government. It was very fun and we got to do a role play about what happens in real life at the House of Representatives and learn how the Australian voting system works. Overall it was a great experience and we learnt so much about the government!
