Thank you
A huge thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and staff who generously gave their time to support our recent working bee. The school grounds looked fantastic afterwards, and your hard work was truly appreciated.
A special thank you to Emma Shaw and her wonderful team of helpers for running our Mother’s Day Stall, last week. Thanks to their efforts, our students were able to choose something thoughtful for their mums and other special people in their lives.
And finally, thank you to everyone who joined us for our Mother’s Day breakfast. With over 100 attendees, it was our biggest and most well-attended event yet! We are so grateful for the amazing support from our school community.
School Uniform
We would like to kindly remind all families about the importance of students wearing the correct school uniform each day. School uniforms help promote a sense of unity and pride and ensure that our learning environment remains focused and respectful.
Please ensure that your child arrives at school in full uniform, including appropriate footwear and avoiding excessive jewellery, hoodies, coloured socks, etc. A friendly reminder that navy blue is the correct school colour, as opposed to black, which some children have been wearing lately.
If you have any questions about the uniform guidelines or need assistance, feel free to contact the school office.
Literacy Learning at Baxter
Reminder: Our last Literacy Learning at Baxter session will be held on Thursday 15th May at 2:00pm in the Hive (junior school building), followed by the Volunteers Refresher session at 2:45pm.
Michelle Bremner and Jade Dahlstrom will be leading these sessions, and we warmly invite our junior school parents/carers to attend.
We acknowledge the Bunurong people, the Traditional
Owners of the land on which Baxter Primary School resides, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
