Standing Together in Prayer

As a community, we are thankful for the opportunity to come before God in prayer, giving thanks for His work in the life of our school and asking for His continued guidance as students, staff and families seek to know and follow Jesus. Please join us in praying for the following areas.

Secondary Assemblies – God With Us

Give thanks for the regular opportunity our students have to hear God's Word through Secondary Assemblies.

Pray that:

• our speakers would faithfully and clearly teach through the theme God With Us from Matthew's Gospel
• students would respond thoughtfully to God's Word and grow in their understanding of who Jesus is
• Christian students would be encouraged to stand firm in their faith and share the hope of the gospel with others
• students would respond to the clear gospel message shared by retired minister Ian Powell by repenting of sin and trusting in Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

Student Leadership and Bible Studies

Give thanks for the many students who willingly serve by leading Bible studies, FISH groups and CRU ministries across our school.

Pray that:

• student leaders would serve with humility, love and kindness, following the example of Jesus
• God would continue to grow their understanding of His Word as they teach and encourage others

• students attending these groups would be strengthened in their faith and challenged to follow Christ

   

Year 3 Girls Bible Study

Give thanks for the older students who faithfully invest in younger girls through this ministry.

Pray that:

• the student leaders would have wisdom and confidence as they teach God's Word
• the Year 3 girls would be encouraged in their faith and grow in their knowledge of Jesus
• meaningful friendships would develop as students learn together

Monday GodTime

Give thanks for Mrs Asher and the opportunity our infants students have each week to learn more about Jesus.

Pray that:

• these young students would develop a growing understanding of God's love and care for them
• God would use this ministry to plant seeds of faith that continue to grow in the years ahead
• staff serving in this ministry would be encouraged as they share the gospel with our youngest students

Senior Christian Education

Give thanks for the opportunity Years 11 and 12 students have to explore Christianity's impact on history, culture and society.

Pray that:

• students would see the profound impact Jesus has had throughout history
• they would recognise the hope and truth found in the gospel
• God would use these lessons to draw students to faith in Christ

Solomon Islands Mission Trip

Give thanks for the generous support shown by our school community through the recent fundraising efforts for the Solomon Islands Mission Trip.

Pray that:

• the six Year 10 students travelling with Graeme and Kathy would be well prepared for the trip
• the team would be a genuine blessing to the communities they visit
• students would experience God's faithfulness and provision firsthand
• God would use this experience to grow hearts for mission and service

Africa Mission Trip

Give thanks for the members of our school community preparing to serve and encourage missionaries across Africa during the October holidays.

Pray that:

• Brett and Kathy and the wider team would be well prepared for the opportunities ahead
• Katie Shepherd and Joshua Tallon would grow in faith as they experience their first mission trip to a developing nation
• God would provide good health, safety and all that the team needs
• the trip would be fruitful and bring glory to God

Staff

Give thanks for the many staff who faithfully serve our students each day, often in ways unseen by others.

Pray that:

• staff would remain healthy and encouraged throughout the winter term
• they would have wisdom as they complete reports and assessments

• God would sustain them as they continue serving students and families with patience and care

   

Senior Students

Pray for our Year 12 students as they continue preparing for the HSC.

Pray that:

• they would persevere in their studies and use their time wisely
• they would trust God amid the pressures and demands of the year

• Christian students would continue to grow in faith and witness to others through their words and actions
