Leadership Report

Term 1, Week 9

Dear Parents & Carers,

As we make our way to the end of a busy, and productive first term of 2026, we take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and positivity in getting all our students settled and off to a great start!

Last week our Year 1 and Year 2 students successfully completed their swimming program for the year and we would like to thank all our staff for their work in coordinating and managing this program for our students.

We congratulate our Year 3 and Year 5 students for completing the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). Standardised testing can be stressful and we applaud their resilience and are sure they’ve done their best to make themselves proud, bearing in mind that this one form of testing does not and should not be used as a measure of capability. We thank our Year 3 and Year 5 classroom teachers for all their hard work and support of our students.

Monday 30th March is our Whole School Photo Day and we look forward to seeing everyone looking their best. Please be reminded to send students to school in full school uniform and as neat and tidy as possible.

On Monday we will also be holding our final assembly of the term. During which, we will acknowledge and celebrate 2 students per year level who will receive the values award in recognition of their outstanding Respectful behaviour, which is our value of the term. We look forward to seeing you there.

Thursday 2nd of April is the last day of the term with an early finish of 2:30pm. We wish all families a restful break and are excited for Term 2 to commence on Tuesday 21st of April.

Kind regards,

Richard, Shevani, and Jonathon
