Three Cool Apps for Your Wellbeing

Stay Organized – Habitica

Habitica is like a game that helps you get things done in real life. You create and customize a little pixel character that goes on adventures as you check off your to-do list. When you complete tasks, your character levels up and earns rewards like experience points and gold. But if you slack off, your character loses health.

Creating tasks on Habitica is super easy. Hit the green “create” button and choose from three types of tasks: "To Do's" for one-time or rare tasks, and dailies for stuff you do regularly. Habitica color-codes your tasks to keep you on track. Tasks start yellow, turn blue when you do them often, and go red if you miss them.

Completing tasks gets you points to buy gear, boost your stats, or get cool decorations and costumes for your avatar. You can even get pets to care for and ride!

Habitica also has a social side. You can join other users on quests to fight monsters, and everyone has to do their tasks to win. You can compete in challenges, earn prizes, and chat with others in the "Tavern" or specific topic "Guilds."

Track Your Mood – Bearable

Bearable is a health tracking app that helps you keep tabs on both physical and mental health symptoms. It’s great for figuring out what might be affecting how you feel and spotting patterns over time.

You do daily check-ins, and the app gives you weekly insights with averages of your mood and symptoms. If you get the Premium version, you can even download charts to share with doctors or therapists.

Bearable has a free version, but some features are only available in Premium, which costs $43.99 a year or $7.49 a month.

Sleep Better – Calm

You might’ve heard of Calm. It’s an app packed with calming exercises, guided meditations, breathing techniques, masterclasses, and more to help you chill out.

One of the coolest features is the "Sleep Stories" section, where celebs like Harry Styles, Matthew McConaughey, and LeBron James read bedtime stories. Calm also has relaxing music remixes to help you drift off.

Calm is available on multiple platforms and has a free version with limited features. The Premium subscription unlocks everything and costs about $80 a year, with a 7-day free trial.

Give these apps a try to boost your organization, mood, and sleep!
