Unit 1 Theatre Studies

Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 June was the 'Unit 1 Theatre Studies Presentation and Performance Night'. This event displayed to family and friends the culmination of the work that the students have done so far this year. It consisted of a walk-through gallery of students' Commedia dell'Arte inspired costume designs and creations and their set designs in the theatre style of Realism. The audiences then made their way from the gallery to the performance space in which each student presented their interpretation of chosen scenes from Shakespeare's plays.

The ‘Unit 1 Theatre Studies Presentation and Performance night’ was an amazing experience. During the course of the rehearsals, I learnt so much form everyone in the class and from the teachers. I have overcome challenges, made mistakes and learnt from them.  I am very proud of myself for getting out there and completing the performance. ~ Kelly Ye, Yr 11

Unit 1 & 3 Music Performance Recitals

On Wed 12 and Thu 13 June, our Unit 1 & 3 Music Performance students will be performing the assessment pieces they have been working on to a friendly audience of family and friends. We are excited to see the entire Semester's performance work coming together. This forms an important part of their assessment for Units 1 & 3.  Audience attendance is welcome and entry is by gold coin donation at the door.

Music Camp 2024

This week, we had Music Camp and it was a lot of fun, the food was very good, it was good to connect with my peers. My highlight was annoying Mr VB every single day. I was amazed by the VCE performances and the food, and I had fun at the Trivia Night.  I highly recommend Music Camp - Five Stars!

~ Phoenix Rigano, Yr 11

My favourite part about Music Camp was, since I'm a Symphonic Band student, I get to help with the Junior Band students. I liked hanging out with friends, rehearsing with my ensemble. It was fun overall. I liked the pieces we're rehearsing and I like the piece that was revealed to us for Gala.  Can't wait to see you all at our Gala Concert in September!

~ William Spiroch, Yr 11

I really liked Music Camp but I didn't like how we had to walk all the way to the Pavillion for the Junior Band rehearsal! I improved a lot with my trumpet skills. It was great to meet new people who also play instruments like me. Would highly recommend!

~ Ved Vekariya, Yr 7

I started learning to play saxophone this year and didn't know what to expect at Music Camp. But having the opportunity this year to go, I definitely got better at playing my sax. It was great to get to know new people in our cabins.
