Kindy Fire Truck Visit
Kindy had a fantastic and informative visit from our local firefighters last week! Students learnt important safety lessons, including calling 000 in an emergency, how to “Get down low and GO, GO, GO!” near smoke. We were also reminded to encourage Mum and Dad to check the batteries in our smoke detectors.
Afterward, we explored the fire truck, discovered the different pieces of equipment, and even had a turn using the fire hose! We are grateful for the brave men and women in our community who help keep us safe. Their service is a wonderful reminder of God’s call to love and care for one another (Galatians 5:13).
GRIP Conference
Student leaders from Year 7-10 recently had the opportunity to continue to grow and develop confidence and skills as leaders by attending the GRIP Student Leadership conference in Lismore.
