From the Principal

Can you believe we’ve already reached the end of the school year? What a fantastic year it’s been, filled with learning, growth and plenty of memorable moments. This final newsletter for 2025 highlights some of the exciting events from our last week, including the School Concert, Year 6 Graduation and Celebration, our Awards Assembly, and the announcement of our 2026 Student Leaders.

Year 6 Graduates of 2025

As you move on to the next stage of your schooling, take pride in everything you’ve achieved and the person you’re becoming. Remember to believe in yourself, be open to new challenges, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes, they’re all part of learning. As you leave Athol Road Primary School, take with you confidence, curiosity and a willingness to try new things. The journey ahead is full of possibilities, and this is just the beginning. Congratulations, Year 6! We wish you all the very best for the exciting adventures ahead. Be sure to check out page 6 for some special highlights from your celebrations.

Foundation - Year 5 2025 Awards Assembly

Congratulations to all students who received a Dux Award, Most Improved Award or Encouragement Award at our Awards Assembly. These awards recognise the effort, persistence and positive attitude shown throughout the year. You should be very proud of what you’ve accomplished in 2025. Well done to everyone involved—your achievements inspire others to keep doing their best. See page 5 for the full list of award recipients.

2026 Student Leaders

A big congratulations to our newly announced Student Leaders for 2026. Being a leader isn’t just about the title, it’s about setting a good example, working as a team and living our RICH values every day. I’m confident you’ll do a wonderful job supporting our school community and helping make ARPS a great place to learn and grow. I’m looking forward to seeing what you achieve next year! Head to page 3 for the full list of student leaders.
