Miss Loren

12th of September 2025

Dear Families,

Today was an exciting and proud day for us at KPS. We were privileged to welcome the Minister for Education, The Honourable Ben Carroll, who visited our school to observe and learn about our evidence-informed inclusive practices. These practices showcase the Department of Education’s Victorian Teaching and Learning Model in action. The Minister was very impressed with our students, our teaching practices, and our strong NAPLAN results this year.

We were also honoured to host the Minister for Planning, The Honourable Sonya Kilkenny, who attended our school this morning to make an announcement and deliver a media release on our grounds.

It is hard to believe we are already entering the final week of Term 3. Over the past fortnight, our school has been filled with energy, learning, and connection.

You will have seen an invitation to participate in this year’s Parent Opinion Survey via Compass. We encourage all families to take part, as your feedback helps us maintain what is working well for you and your children, while also guiding us on where we can improve. Currently, we have a 12% participation rate, and we would love to see that number increase. The survey remains open until Friday 19th September, your input is an important part of shaping future improvements at KPS.
