Sacrament of Confirmation
With the Sacrament of Confirmation coming up for some of our Grade 6 students next week, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
We are looking forward to the Confirmation Reflection Day on Monday 12th October followed by the Sacrament itself on Friday 16th October at 5pm.
Lord, You send out Your Spirit to touch the hearts of all people,
so that they may believe in You and in Jesus whom You sent.
Look kindly on all candidates for Confirmation
as they listen to Your voice.
Open their hearts to Your Spirit and bring to fulfillment
the good work that You have begun in them.
As we prepare these children for Confirmation,
make each of us an instrument of Your love.
Teach us to appreciate what is holy in others,
and to be patient with what we do not understand.
Deepen our faith in the Gospel
and help us to pass it on by our example.
We pray that You will continue to guide us and sustain us.
Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Thank you Prep TR and Prep JM for leading beautiful class prayer services these past two weeks. It is a privilege to gather and celebrate with your class community.
Sunday Gospel
Jesus teaches us that God loves everyone and is generous to everyone.
Sometimes we might think, “That’s not fair! Why did they get the same as me?” But Jesus reminds us not to be jealous when someone else receives something good.
Instead, we should be happy for others, share, and thank God for all the blessings we have.Remember: God’s love is big enough for everyone!
Let’s ask Jesus to help us have happy and generous hearts.
