Principal's Message to the School Community

Dear Kyneton Primary School Community,
As we come to the end of Term 3, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their ongoing support and commitment throughout what has been a busy and rewarding term.
A particular highlight has been the success of our Year 2 and Year 4 camping programs. It was wonderful to see students embrace new experiences, step outside their comfort zones and demonstrate resilience, independence and teamwork. Many children overcame personal challenges, whether it was spending time away from home, trying new activities or building confidence in unfamiliar situations. These experiences are an important part of their learning journey, and we are incredibly proud of the courage and determination they showed.
I would like to sincerely thank our parents and carers for preparing students so well for these opportunities and for supporting them to participate with confidence. I also extend my gratitude to our dedicated teachers and support staff whose careful planning, encouragement and supervision helped make these camps such positive and memorable experiences for all involved.
Looking ahead, we are excited for our Year 6 students as they prepare for their Urban Camp early next term. This valuable experience provides students with opportunities to further develop their independence, responsibility and understanding of the wider community as they continue their transition towards secondary school.
Thank you once again for a fantastic Term 3. I wish all families a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term of learning and growth.
