Principal's Report
As we approach the end of another busy year at the college, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on our achievements and look forward to what lies ahead.
Our Year 12 students have now completed their VCE examinations, marking the culmination of their secondary education journey. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and resilience, and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating their accomplishments at the Valedictory ceremony. We look forward to hearing about their successes for their future in the new year.
The Step-Up Program for our current Year 11 students will conclude Friday, 29th November. This program has provided an invaluable head start on their Year 12 studies, setting them up for success in their final year. I encourage all students to reflect on their experiences during Step-Up and consider how they can carry this momentum into 2025.
Across the college, teachers are busily finalising assessments and preparing end-of-year reports, ensuring we capture the growth and achievements of every student. Meanwhile, the House Teams are working hard to plan an exciting range of activities for the final week of term, creating opportunities for students to celebrate and reflect on the year that has been.
Looking ahead, our Leadership Team has also begun preparing for 2025, laying the groundwork for what promises to be another impactful and inspiring year. Together, we will continue to build on our strengths and pursue excellence in teaching, learning, and community engagement.
As we near the holiday season, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our students, staff, and families for their contributions to our vibrant college community. I encourage everyone to take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the company of loved ones.
On behalf of all of us at the college, I wish you a joyful and safe holiday season. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2025, ready for another year of growth and success.
Warm regards,
Aylin Gökmen
