Out and About

Year 7 history students became archaeologists recently as they conducted their very own ‘excavation’ using chocolate chip cookies as their dig site.
Students carefully excavated the chocolate chips, recording their findings and discussing how real archaeologists uncover artefacts layer by layer.
The activity was a fun and delicious way to help students understand the importance of careful excavation, observation, and recording evidence to learn about the past.
