Diocesean Winter trials

Congratulations to all students who attended the Bathurst Winter Trials.  Soccer had to be postponed due to the state of the grounds and will now be held on the 26th March.

A special mention must go to the following students who made Dio teams:

Loti Brodrick, Layla Gardiner, Xanthe Bryant and Annabelle Groves who all made the 12's girls league team.

Diocesan Swimming

A number of our students proudly represented our school at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival in Dubbo, competing in a range of individual and relay events. All swimmers are to be praised for their efforts on the day. Each student demonstrated great determination and sportsmanship, with many successfully improving their personal best times.

Congratulations to all students for their excellent behaviour, effort and commitment at the carnival. A special mention goes to five of our swimmers, Archie Eades, Lulu Eades, Henry Crump, Franklin Boucher and Thomas Dowling who have qualified to compete at the next level in Sydney at the end of the term. We wish them all the very best as they continue to represent our school and our Diocesan.

Thank you also to the parents who travelled to Dubbo to support the students, and to those who generously assisted with timekeeping on the day. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Rugby League Day

On the 28th April students in Years 3-6 who play either league or union will be given the opportunity to partake in the Liam Henry (Under 10's) and Isaah Yeo (Under 12's) rugby league day held at Brendon Sturgeon Oval.  All students attending must wear mouthguards.  Students will be bused to and from the venue on this day as it starts at 10.00am and concludes by 2.15pm

Stage 3 girls (Year 5 and 6) will have their own tournament held in Bathurst at Jack Arrow Sporting Complex.  Parents will need to take their child to this event.  Mr Bishenden (head coach) will accompany the girls on the day.

Notes for those students who showed interest will be sent out shortly.
