BEACH VOLLEYBALL SCHOOLS CUP MARCH 3-6, 2026
Congratulations to all the participants in the Beach Schools Cup this year.
The Years 7 & 8s day on Tuesday had most of our participants, and a huge thank you goes to our athlete helpers who mentored our Year 7s and supported our Year 8s.
Well done to our Year 8 Girls who received a gold medal: Ella Kentera, Capri Stern, Magdalena Uribe Cardoso, Mya Davis and Kadi Effat.
The Year 9s on Wednesday and Year 10s on Thursday made lots of semi-finals, and played some quality volleyball, but unfortunately did not make the grand finals.
On Friday with the Years 11 & 12s, congratulations goes to our gold medallists in the Year 11 Boys pairs: Adam Suchard and Jayvier Yang and gold medallists in the Year 12 Boys fours: Leo Park, Andreja Horvat and Kai Kinross.
Well done to our silver medallists in Year 11 Girls pairs: Izzy Dekarta and Mia Roberts.

LAWN BOWLS
On Monday the 23rd February 30 of our finest lawn bowlers descended on McKinnon bowls club. They had a great day playing lots of ends of lawn bowls and enjoyed the competitive nature of the game.
Our senior team came close to bringing home the pennant, only losing one game during the day and finishing 2nd. We are hopeful they will be invited to play again at SMR.
