Congratulations Kai Seedeen - Year 11

Congratulations to Kai Seedeen. Kai is a Year 11 student, who was chosen to participate in the AUSA Hoops in the United States over the school holidays.
Kia Seedeen: From July 4th to July 24th, I went on a basketball trip to the United States with AUSA Hoops as I was selected to partake in an American basketball exposure and experience tour, spending three weeks across two different states.
I stayed in Richmond, Virginia for the first week, where we had an intense training camp and explored the area by visiting places like the White House and Washington monument and going to multiple museums during the week before playing a tournament on the weekend.
The second week was spent in Bryan, Texas, where we continued our intense training camp as well as exploring and touring colleges including Texas A&M, University of Houston and Texas Tech and competed in another tournament on the weekend, going 4-4 across both tournaments. Overall I had a great time and enjoyed all the new experiences and different parts of American culture and basketball. The trip was an exciting opportunity to improve my skills, play against different stronger competition, and gain exposure to American colleges and bond with my teammates while playing tournaments and visiting new places.
