School Closure: Catholic Social Teaching
Last Friday, the teachers participated in a professional development day centered around Catholic Social Teaching. It was a wonderfully invigorating day, which really affirmed the work that we are doing with our children.
On the day we looked in to the origins of Catholic Social Teaching as we know it today, and how others around the world interpret and deliver the teachings to those around them. We also thought of ways that we as a school community are already actively showing these teachings through mission and action, and how we might further develop.
Over the course of the year we will be introducing our school communities to these teachings through our newsletter and social media to help make meaningful connections between home and learning. We look forward to sharing ours and the students learning with you.
God Bless,
