The International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) is an annual, online academic competition for students in Years 2–12, primarily in Australia and Asia.

Dear IPS Families of Students in Years 3-6,
Please note that ICAS entries for Ivanhoe Primary School have closed as of Friday July 10th.
If you are yet to have enrolled your child in the ICAS assessments through our school portal, they will not be able to participate in ICAS assessments at IPS this year. If you are wanting to enrol your child in ICAS external to IPS, please contact ICAS directly at ICAS 2026 – Registration
ICAS dates, results and certificates
All assessments will be conducted online, at school. In due course, we will notify you of the exact date(s) that we will run ICAS assessments, and when your child’s ICAS results are ready. Please read the following sitting windows that each assessment is required to be conducted in. If your child is not going to be attending school during that window, do not enrol them in the assessment.
Your child’s ICAS certificates will be delivered to school. Once we have received them, we will present them to your child to bring home.
The back of the certificate will show your child’s ICAS results and the login details, “TAP ID and Pin”. - Use these to enter the Results Portal orti.icasassessments.com/ortiStudent.
