World Teachers Day
This Friday, we celebrate World Teachers’ Day — a special opportunity to recognise the dedication, care and expertise of our amazing Victorian teachers who inspire, challenge and support students every day.
At Cheltenham East Primary School, we are incredibly proud of our teaching team. Every day, our teachers nurture curiosity, build confidence, and go above and beyond to make learning meaningful and engaging for every student. Their hard work shapes the future — one lesson, one smile and one breakthrough at a time.
We encourage everyone in our community to say thank you to the teachers who make a difference in your child’s life. You might like to send a note of appreciation, share a kind message, or even help with a morning tea to celebrate their efforts.
To all our dedicated CEPS teachers — thank you for all that you do. Your passion, professionalism, and care make our school a truly special place to learn and grow.
Poppy Appeal
Poppy Appeal items are now available for purchase at the school office. Students and families are welcome to make a donation to support our veterans and wear a poppy with pride in the lead-up to Remembrance Day.
We will be holding a whole school Remembrance Day Ceremony on Tuesday, 11 November at 10.50am. The ceremony will take place at the ANZAC Stage, weather permitting.
Curriculum Day
There will be a Curriculum Day on Monday 3rd November, followed by the Melbourne Cup public holiday on Tuesday — enjoy your extra-long weekend.
