SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Once again, congratulations to the Oxley (Blue) House on their victory at the athletics carnival last Friday. The Blue team members should feel a great sense of pride in their achievements. I have just finished reviewing the results, and eighteen students have qualified to represent St Patrick's Primary at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival on the 9th of August at Tamworth.

Congratulations to the following students who will be representing St Patrick's Primary: Grace S, Albert, Josie, Jessica, Angus, Phoebe, Benji, Rebee, Shaun, Digby, Lucie, Grace F, Archer, Levi W, Lucy, Leroy, Katie and Henry.

In the attachment below are the events that the above students have been nominated to compete in at the carnival.

Term 3 Sporting Events

*Friday 9th August: Diocesan Athletics Carnival at Tamworth.

*Thursday 26th September: Diocesan Football and Netball Gala Day at Tamworth

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.

Attached below is the revised version of this manual, which now contains the latest information on Jessica's and Josie's records at the athletics carnival.
