Monash Waverley Division Cross Country

Congratulations to all Camelot Rise Primary school students who represented the school at the recent Monash Waverley Division Cross Country event. Good luck to Thomas D, Thomas M and Isla who will now compete at the Eastern Metropolitan Region event next week at Yarra Valley Racecourse.

Life Education

Recently students across all levels attended the Life Education Program at school. The program covered topics including; drugs and alcohol, personal safety, cybersafety, food and nutrition, physical activity, social and emotional wellbeing and the human body. The program chose content tailored to each school and stage group. Harold was a big hit! 

Mini Beasts Grade 1/2

During this terms inquiry unit Grade 1/2 students learnt about  Mini Beasts and their 

habitat. They collected thinks of interest around the school with their buddy then made their collection into art work. From here they wrote about their experience and what they had found.

Visual arts Year 1/2

Year 1/2 students have been learning different painting techniques. They first created a pattern using foam shapes. They then used Durablocks to take a rubbing of their pattern. A bit tricky as the shapes were soft and squishy! Special paint sticks were used to take a final print.
