Dear Parents,

We have had a wonderful start to our NAIDOC Celebrations this week. On Monday, we had 80 children represent our school at the NAIDOC Community March. Our children were outstanding and enjoyed the experience of marching and having a BBQ in the park.

All children K-6 have been working on projects in their classrooms celebrating NAIDOC week and have had the opportunity during Break 2 to visit the library to listen to Dreamtime stories. Thank you to all involved. We have had a wonderful week of culture and celebrations.

Tomorrow, Friday 23rd October, our Year 6 children will take part in the Year 6 Interschool Sports Day. We know our Year 6 children will represent our school with great pride.

Tomorrow, we will hold a celebration for our most special staff member, Trixie. Trixie has recently turned 7, and we couldn't let this day pass without celebrating her. Children are welcome to wear free dress to school (enclosed shoes please - no crocs or thongs) tomorrow and donate a gold coin. The money raised will be used to purchase some special treats for Trixie. Happy Birthday, Trixie.
