Sacred Heart Day

This Friday we will celebrate the Feast of The Sacred Heart with a combined Mass with Sacred Heart College.

This Mass is to be held in the MPB at 10 am. Each year, the Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus—a special day that reminds us of Jesus’ deep and unconditional love for all people. This feast usually falls 19 days after Pentecost, on a Friday, and is a time to reflect on the compassion, mercy, and love that flow from the heart of Christ.

The image of the Sacred Heart shows Jesus’ heart surrounded by flames, a crown of thorns, and a cross—symbols of His suffering and His burning love for humanity. It invites us to respond with love, kindness, and care for others, just as Jesus does for us.

As part of the Mass we will be presenting a cheque to St Vinnies.

All are welcome to join us for Mass.

As part of our celebrations all children will receive a cupcake and will participate in an art activity related to the Sacred Heart.
