Regional Cross Country – Benalla

Congratulations to our students who recently represented our school at the Regional Cross Country in Benalla. Competing against the best runners from across the region, each student showed outstanding effort, determination, and sportsmanship.

A special mention goes to Stevie, who finished in an impressive 6th place and has now qualified for the State Cross Country Championships in Melbourne in early Term 3. What an incredible achievement — well done, Stevie!

We also congratulate Annabelle Under 9/10 Girls, Sophie Under9/10 Girls, Danny Under 11 Boys, Todd Under 12/13 Boys and Ned Under 9/10 Boys for their wonderful efforts on the day. Each of you should be extremely proud of your performance and the way you represented our school.

Well done to the whole team and to their parents who transported them to the event on the day.

Bike Ed:

Last week in our Year 5 and 6 Bike Ed lessons students took part in activities that were designed to increase road safety awareness and understanding of common road rules. Students created their own mini road maps which included Stop signs, Give Way signs, pedestrian footpaths etc.

Students practised riding on the left-hand side, riding at appropriate speeds, signalling and indicating when turning and giving way to those students who have right of way.
