AFL 9s Girls Division Competition
On Wednesday this week, our Girls' gold AFL 9s team travelled to Waterview Reserve to compete against other schools in our division. The first game was a tough game with our girls going down to Marymede 43-1. Our second game was another tough and physical game. Although our girls suffered another significant loss, 70-3, they showed great determination, never giving up and fighting until the end. The last game of the day, the girls regrouped and displayed great teamwork and sportsmanship, coming away with a win to finish off the day, beating Wallan 25-13.
Congratulations to all 10 girls who not only went undefeated throughout the ISS Term but also demonstrated remarkable resilience and improvement with each game.
Next Friday, August 1st, our Term 3 ISS begins with the 3 sports Tennis, Volleyball and Softball.
All parents/carers are kindly requested to complete the Compass event and payment by next Tuesday, 29th July.
