Book Week Dress Up Day!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Book Week.   The 2026 Children’s Book Week theme was a ‘Symphony of Stories’ and it certainly looked that way at our parade.  We love reading at TPPS and Book Week was such a great way to celebrate the pleasure of losing yourself in a great book.

As part of our Book Week celebrations, the PFA organised for TPPS to participate in the ‘Great Book Swap’ to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.  Our fantastic PFA raised $310 for this great foundation.  A big thank you to Cara and her team for their great work.

Check out the amazing costumes below.  Happy Book Week!

Prep Farm Excursion

Our Prep students had a wonderful day on their excursion to Chesterfield Farm! The excitement began as soon as we arrived and the children were eager to explore everything the farm had to offer.

Throughout the day, students enjoyed a range of hands-on experiences, including feeding a variety of friendly farm animals, taking a tractor ride around the farm and learning about life on a working farm. One of the highlights of the day was milking Tilly the cow, which gave students a wonderful opportunity to experience farm life firsthand.

Students enjoyed watching Scout, the sheepdog, round up the sheep and guide them around the paddock. The children loved seeing Scout’s skills in action and learning about the important role working dogs play on farms.

It was fantastic to see our Prep students displaying our school values throughout the day as they explored, learned, and enjoyed new experiences together. We were incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, curiosity, and excellent behaviour.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our wonderful parent helpers who joined us and supported the students during the excursion. Your assistance helped make the day a huge success.
