Book Week - August 16-23, 2025

Book Day Dress Up - Friday August 22nd

Children's Book Week 2025 in Australia will be held from August 16th to August 23rd and will celebrate its 80th anniversary. The theme for the week is "Book an Adventure!". The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) will be highlighting the importance of reading and showcasing Australian children's books, authors, and illustrators. 

Each year we celebrate Book day at St Joseph's where we encourage students to dress up as their favourite book characters and they take part in activities around the nominated books. This year our dress up day is Friday August 22nd and we cant wait to see all of the amazing costumes on the day!
