                                                                                Lord Jesus,

you were born in the Virgin Mary,

the daughter of Saints Joachim and Anne.

Look with love today on Grandparents the world over.

Protect them! They are a source of enrichment for families,

for the Church, and for all of society.

Support them! As they grow older,

may they continue to be for their families,

                                                                strong pillars of Gospel faith,

                                                          guardians of noble domestic ideals,

and living treasuries of sound religious traditions.

Make them teachers of wisdom and courage,

that they may pass on to future generations

the fruits of their mature human and spiritual experience.

                                                                                       Amen

From the Principal

Dear Parents and Families,

Welcome to Term Three. It has been a good week and positive start to the term. We look forward to many exciting things that we have planned for the term.

International Students

This week we welcomed students from China. They will be with us for between two weeks and six weeks. Our students have enjoyed time introducing the students to new things and helping them to settle into our school.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day

We will celebrate Grandparents and Special Friends Day at St Philip’s tomorrow morning in recognition of the Feasts of Saints Joachim and Anne. This is a special time in our school year and one that allows everyone in the community to gather and share time with students in their learning environment. Grandparents and Special Friends are welcome to our morning assembly at 9.00am prior to visiting the classrooms with the children. Morning tea will be served at 10.15am in the Hall.

100 Days of Prep – "100 Days Brighter"

Wednesday 30 July is the 100th day of prep for 2025. The school will celebrate this day based on the theme ‘100 Days Brighter’. Students from all classes are invited to dress up for the day in either something bright and colourful or something that represents 100.

Student Learning Conferences

Student Learning Conferences are scheduled for next Tuesday 29 July. Please book your time using the Parent Access Module (PAM). Children are expected to attend as well as this is an opportunity for students to reflect on their learning and share their future learning goals.

Best wishes always,
