Music Room Overview – Term 3 2025

This term in Music, the grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 students will be diving into electronic music through exploring drum machines, synthesisers and live loopers.

They will be introduced to sequencing drum beats, basslines, chords and melodies as they learn about effects, filters and envelopes.

Alongside all this they will be reinforcing the foundational musical skills of counting the beat, recognising musical patterns, getting familiar with the position of notes and chords on the keyboard, and of course singing!
