International Student Program

Ending Term 2 on a high note, our international students gathered to cook up a storm, sharing their creations with the Principal Team and one another. It's an excellent opportunity for our international students to not only acquire new skills but also to bond and relish the experience together. And what was on the menu, you might wonder? Stuffed potatoes topped with their favourite ingredients, of course! A delightful lunchtime filled with scrumptious food – what more could anyone ask for?

Recently, North Geelong Secondary College had the delight of hosting two primary schools, Bell Park North Primary School and Holy Family Primary School, for a matinee session to view our College performance, "Spectrum Sounds." The beaming smiles were a clear indication that the students immensely enjoyed the showcase of talent by our North Geelong Secondary College students on stage. To enhance the afternoon, the students were treated to popcorn, adding an extra touch of magic to the event. Their excitement was palpable as they sang along to some of their favourite songs. It was an amazing event for our College community to share with the local primary schools.

Welcome back to Term Three! We trust you all enjoyed a delightful winter break and are ready for the busy term ahead.

During our fifth Multicultural Committee (MC) meeting, last Monday, July 22, from 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm, we gathered valuable insights on previous events and deliberated on future ones.

This term, our attention is centered on formulating ideas and plans for the Multicultural Day Festival, our significant annual event scheduled for October 25. We're witnessing exciting progress, including fresh themes and an array of activities. Keep an eye out for our festival poster for further details or attend our next meeting.

Our next Multicultural meeting will be on Monday, August 26, from 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm.

We invite input from parents and community members in the Multicultural Committee, so follow this event so please stay engaged with this event and watch for updates in this space!
