Bottle Recycling

This year, we are continuing the Victorian bottle recycling scheme. Outside of each grade, you will see a tub with a white bag in it. In this tub, you can help us by recycling your plastic bottles and juice boxes, especially the ones from the canteen.

NO GLASS BOTTLES, ONLY PLASTIC and cardboard drink cartons. Remember, you can bring your own plastic bottles from home.

All money raised will help us with the Year 6 Graduation. By the end of next week, we are hoping to have over 100 bottles.

This helps the environment stay clean and not dirty, and this way we can save money and care about the environment at the same time.

Veggie Garden

We are excited to have a number of different vegetables growing in our veggie garden at the moment. We have planted lobelia flowers, daisy flowers, coriander, silverbeet, kale, capsicum, radish, spinach and sunflowers! We have been watering and maintaining the vegetable garden every week and have seen it develop and grow. We can’t wait to share some of the produce with classes. We would like to say a huge thank-you to Darlene for helping us with the vegetable garden, teaching us how to plant and take care of the seedlings and plants. Please come and have a look at our veggie garden before or after school.

As a sustainability team, we are going to continue to work on improving the school grounds, and everyone can help with this by picking up rubbish, not running or walking across garden areas and not touching or ripping leaves or branches off plants.
