Whole School Transition

This week as we wind down for the year we welcomed our students for 2024 into our classes.  This transition session is very important as it assists students in calming their anxieties and fears about who will be their teacher and the students in their class for the following year.  It also allows students to know where their classroom will be for the following year.

We also welcomed out new Foundation students for their final Transition session before they begin school next year.

Our year 6 students have also had their orientation session this week to Mount Lilydale Mercy College and Upper Yarra and Lilydale Secondary Colleges next Tuesday.  From all accounts, there have been nerves mixed with excitement as they transition to their new schools for 2024.  We wish them well with their transition to high school.

PSG Meetings

Thankyou to all the families who met this week to discuss the goals of their students. This process is a very important part of the communication between families and school to ensure that partnerships are built, but also so we are all working towards the common goals.  It has been a privilege to listen to the achievements of all of our students and the goals that they are achieving.
