Transition Sessions

Foundation 2024

It was so wonderful to have two transition sessions with our Foundation 2024 students over the past two weeks! Both of these sessions involved the Foundations meeting their future year 5 buddies! We absolutely love fostering these connections within our school! They are so important and help our new students feel safe and happy when they come to school! The future year 5 students were absolutely over the moon when they found out they got to meet their buddy! They are looking forward to being support people for the Foundations during their transition to school!

On Tuesday we had our longer transition session which was so much fun! We walked around the school and talked about the playgrounds we could play on and what we do at St Joe's! The best comment was "WOW school is so much bigger than kinder, I can't wait to come here".
