Summer Gala Day #2 

On Tuesday, our Senior students competed in day 2 of the Summer Gala Day Competition. In hot conditions, all students and teams did an amazing job representing CHPS in their particular sport. Congratulations to our two teams, who won their competitions and will progress to the Division Finals later in the year.

District Tennis:

Congratulations to Shehzad 5LC and Avi 5SH for competing at the District Tennis Carnival at Yarra Valley Grammar last Friday. Both played 7 games in a round robin tournament against others schools in our area. Well done on your fantastic efforts!

National Ride2School Day:

National Ride2School Day is coming up on Friday 20th March, 2026. National Ride2School Day is Australia’s biggest celebration of active travel and one of the best days on the school calendar. Let’s discover the joy of riding and kick-start healthy habits for the future. Students can ride, scoot, skate or walk to school. Remember to wear a helmet if riding. Students in Prep – Year 3 must be accompanied by an adult. You can park and leave your bike or scooter at school for the day in the following areas:

From 8:30am

Prep-2 – Turf area near the prep sandpit (sections will be set up). Write your name and class on a tag supplied and park your bike or scooter.

Year 3-6 – Bike shed and senior courtyard area outside the PAC (sections will be set up). Write your name and class on a tag supplied and park your bike or scooter.
