Another Action-Packed Week at Echuca East!

It’s been another fantastic week at Echuca East, with our students embracing new experiences, getting involved and making memories along the way!

LEVEL 4s – URBAN CAMP

Our Level 4 students had an incredible time on their Melbourne Urban Camp last week. From a visit to the Night Zoo and Ice skating, to The Shrine, The Gaol, Arcade fun and plenty more, they certainly packed a lot into their Melbourne adventure!

It was wonderful to hear about all the experiences they enjoyed, the challenges they took on and, of course, the many laughs along the way. We’re sure our Level 4s returned with some fantastic memories and stories to share!

LEVEL 2s – MELBOURNE ADVENTURE

Our Level 2 students also headed into Melbourne for a big adventure, visiting the Melbourne Museum and experiencing the excitement of the IMAX Theatre.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore, discover and learn beyond the classroom while experiencing all that Melbourne has to offer.

GIRLS’ REGIONAL FOOTY TOURNAMENT

Yesterday, our Girls’ Football Team headed to Swan Hill to compete in the Regional Tournament — and they certainly did not disappoint!

Coming runners-up is a fantastic achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way our girls represented Echuca East. Their teamwork, determination, sportsmanship, and never-give-up attitude were fantastic to see.  Well done, girls — what an achievement!

GRADE 3–6 HOUSE ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

A reminder that Monday is our annual Grade 3–6 House Athletics Carnival at Jack Eddy Oval in Moama. Students are encouraged to wear their House colours, get involved, have a go and cheer on their teammates. We know our Easties will bring plenty of energy, enthusiasm and encouragement to the day.  Let’s get out there, have fun and compete in Eastie style!

📚 BOOK WEEK EXTRAVAGANZA – NEXT FRIDAY!

And finally… our Book Week Extravaganza is happening next Friday!

It’s time to get busy sorting out those costumes and getting ready to celebrate all things books, reading and imagination. We can’t wait to see the creativity and fun our Easties bring to the parade!

A reminder that our Book of the Year announcements will follow the parade, as we celebrate the wonderful books, stories and creativity of our students.

We’re looking forward to another fantastic Book Week celebration!

POSSIBLE PLANNED AEU STOP WORK STRIKE

Wednesday the 19th August is scheduled for further industrial action, most classes will be impacted if this is to go ahead more information to come on Monday.
