Indigenous Science Experience Program

Two lucky students, Sophia and Jalira, had the incredible opportunity to attend the Indigenous Science Experience at Redfern! With support from Macquarie University and Science in the Scrub through the University of New South Wales, the girls engaged deeply in sharing traditional science knowledge and explored exciting potential careers through these amazing institutes.

Voices in Print

Students from the Together as One group have been busy creating their own artist books as part of the Voices in Print program. Through storytelling, printmaking and creative activities, students explored ideas about culture, identity and their experiences, bringing their stories to life through art and words.

A huge thank you to Anne - NERAM’s Education Officer and Black Gully Printmakers, for running the program and supporting our students throughout the process. It has been a wonderful opportunity for students to develop their creativity, learn new skills and have their work shared with the wider community.

The students' artist books will be featured as part of an upcoming exhibition at NERAM, alongside a range of other artworks. We encourage families, staff and members of our school community to visit NERAM during the exhibition, particularly on the opening night, to see the students' work and celebrate their achievements.
