2026 Children's Book Week

This year, the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has chosen the inspiring theme “Symphony of Stories”, with the official artwork beautifully created by the award-winning Australian author and illustrator, Briony Stewart. We can't wait to see how our students bring this harmony of imagination and storytelling to life!

At Holy Rosary, our week-long celebration of Australian literature will culminate on Friday 28 August with a series of events. The day will begin at 9:05am with our much-anticipated Book Parade, where students are invited to dress as their favourite book character or perhaps wear a costume inspired by this year’s theme! Staff costumes are currently top secret, but we promise they’ll be worth the wait! Other activities will be published in the coming weeks.  So join in the fun for this beloved week in our school calendar.

Science Fair information in National Science Week

Join in the fun during Science Week by completing a project to be exhibited in our School Hall! All the details and guidelines can be found on our website: Holy Rosary Science Fair 2026. 

Last year’s exhibition was our biggest one yet, featuring incredible projects from children exploring the fields of science that fascinate them most. We can’t wait to see the creativity and innovation of our students this year!
