Grade 3 & 4

Term 3 - Week 10

Wow, one day until the holidays! There were some tired faces around our space this week, including the teachers, especially after the amazing fun had on grade 3 camp. Our camp was a one-night stay in Halls Gap. We were fortunate enough to stay at the wonderful Tandara camp. We even bumped into some friends from St Patricks Primary School, Nhill. We enjoyed walking through Venus Baths, making kites, swinging high in the air on the Kookaburra, archery and, of course, ice cream! It was a wonderful experience for all involved.

Here are some of the highlights from our grade 3 students.

Ruby Seers: Archery was my favourite activity because it was my first time trying it. Unfortunately, my arrow kept going over the target.

Jax Barber: My favourite activity on camp was archery because I hit a bull's eye!

Lainey Rabone: I really enjoyed the flying on the Kookaburra. My favourite part was throwing the ball in the hoop.

Kovu Purcell: I really enjoyed the whole thing, but if I had to pick something, it would be when we first arrived.

Johan Ruban: I loved the Kookaburra and the archery because they were so fun and challenging. I kept trying and finally got it.

Lenny Robinson: My favourite activities were the Kookaburra and archery. They were tricky, but I tried my best.

Chloe Anstis: My favourite activities were Kookaburra and Archery. It was my first time trying them, and they were so much fun!

Freddie Spasic: My favourite part was walking to Venus Baths because I enjoyed collecting the rocks from the path.

Ava Eldridge: I enjoyed the Kookaburra as I haven't been up that high before.

While the grade 3s were away, the grade 4s came to play! The grade 4s had a wonderful time back at school with Mrs Kirby and Miss See. They completed engaging activities such as a 50-word story challenge and maths games and played Jeopardy. The 50-word stories were challenging and creative. All the students did an excellent job of their stories.

We hope you have a safe and happy holiday and return refreshed for our last term!
