Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends! Welcome to Week 11 of Term 2.
We would like to begin by acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respect to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.
As we wrap up the final week of this term, we’re reflecting on all the fun and learning we've had at TheirCare. From exciting activities and creative discoveries, it’s been a wonderful journey. Thank you to all the children, families, and staff who made this term so special. We can’t wait to see what next term brings! Competition and Creativity Week! We’re wrapping up the term with a fun-filled Competition and Creativity Week at TheirCare! It’s a time for children to challenge themselves, be creative, and most importantly—have fun!
Planned Activities
- Lego Speed Build – Who can build the fastest and most creative Lego creation? Children will race against the clock to bring their ideas to life using Lego bricks.
- Drawing Competition – A chance for everyone to show off their artistic side! Children can draw anything they like, and we’ll celebrate their creativity with some fun prizes.
- Morning Comedy Festival – We’re starting each day with laughter! Children can tell jokes, perform skits, or just enjoy some funny moments with friends to get the day going with smiles.
It’s the perfect way to end a fantastic term full of learning, laughter, and new experiences!
Relaxed Fun to End the Term
As we approach the end of the term, this week we’ve given children more opportunities for free play, letting them choose how they want to enjoy their time at TheirCare. It’s been a great way for everyone to unwind, have fun, and spend time with friends. Outdoor games have remained a big hit - cricket, soccer, and footy continue to be the favourites on the playground. We’ve also noticed table tennis growing in popularity, with more and more children giving it a go and enjoying the challenge!
It’s been a wonderful way to wrap up the term with a mix of active play, creativity, and laughter.
Pupil of the Week
The Pupil of the week is Jinwoo in 1MM for always lending a helping hand to his friends and showing respect and friendliness to both his peers and educators. Your positive attitude brightens up our days - well done, Jinwoo!
