Next Week @ FHS

What an absolutely glorious day for a swimming carnival today was. A huge thank you to all the staff who helped to organise and run the event and congratulations to the staff of FHS for winning the staff v student relay. For the first time ever we held our swimming carnival in conjunction with Collingwood College and it was a great success, we look forward to seeing them all again at the athletics carnival later in the year.

Looking ahead to next week:

Year 7 Camp – Wednesday to Friday: Our Year 7 cohort are off to Anglesea on Wednesday for their 3 day camp. The itinerary looks jam packed with fun activities. We are sure you are going to have a great time. (I will see you on the Thursday when I come down to visit).

School Council Training: Hopefully you have seen that we have some positions available for school council for this year (Please see my earlier message). If you are interested in joining the school council we are hosting a school council governance training session next Tuesday at 6pm at the junior campus. If you would like to attend please email me and let me know.

Debate Team: Meeting Tuesday: Fitzroy High has a proud tradition of debating, (what can we say we love to argue) – if you are interested in getting involved talk to Olivia, the first meeting for the team is on Tuesday at Lunch time.
