Winter Magic Market Wrap-Up

It is with sincere gratitude and thanks to all the families and staff for the hard work and time volunteered for another successful and enjoyable Winter Magic Market, that we announce this year the market raised just over $27,000. 

In the 2023 School budget, and based on outcomes from the prior year, the Winter Magic Market community event was predicted to bring in revenue of around $55,000 with a potential profit of $35,000. After discussion at School Council, this year it was agreed most prices at the market would not be increased, however, as with all things, the costs for the market were 22% higher leading to somewhat lower than anticipated profits.  Revenue for all stalls is detailed below.

It was wonderful to see the volunteering spirit is still alive and well in our students with so many of them following the example of their parents and supporting the event by volunteering on a stall. 

It was a fun and unexpected addition to also have the opportunity to watch and celebrate the Women’s World Cup together. 

A huge thank you to all the volunteer teams detailed below – We really appreciate the many parents who juggled looking after their kids, enjoying themselves, and generously donating their time to volunteer during the event.
