Showcase of Learning

This week in Chapel, our Year 3 students shared their learning about how communities change over time and what it means to belong to a Christian community.

As part of their History unit, students presented their discoveries about the changes at HopePoint Christian School since it opened in 1990 after relocating from Greenacre. They interviewed Mrs Auckett to gather firsthand insights into how the school has grown and developed over the years. They also explored historical photographs and recreated them through their own artworks to visually showcase the changes in our buildings, playgrounds and learning spaces.

In addition, students reflected on what Christian community means to them, sharing how our community helps them grow in Christ, learn about the Bible, worship together, show kindness and respect, and feel included and encouraged.

Their presentation beautifully highlighted that while many things change over time, our foundation in Christ and our heart for community remain the same.

Parents Prayer Group

All parents are warmly invited to join our Parents Prayer Group.

Last year, this was a very encouraging time as we gathered together to pray for our children, families, and the school community. Whether you’ve joined us before or this would be your first time, everyone is welcome. There’s no pressure, just a simple and supportive space to spend time together in prayer.

Thanks so much,

Josh and Mel Fattal
