Hello families, and welcome to this week's newsletter.

Principals Day

Time for some shameless self-promotion :)  A massive thank you to all the students and parents who celebrated the entire leadership team here at Ballan PS today.   My office was covered in lovely messages and posters from students, and the conversations with parents before and after school were greatly appreciated.   I wanted to take a moment to sing the praises of our leadership team.  Mr. Baker and Mrs. Mauriks are amazing educators in their own right; their commitment to your students' futures, wellbeing and academic growth ensures that Ballan PS continues to be a school and community we are all proud to be a part of. 

100 Days of School

Last week we celebrated 100 days of school for our current foundation students. It was fantastic to see the students dressed up to celebrate.  How quickly this year is motoring by; the 'new' students are not so new anymore, we are very proud of the start they have made this year.  

Progress Reports and Industrial Action

Due to the ongoing industrial action by the Australian Education Union.

We will not be supplying our regular subject-specific progress reports throughout this term.  However, you can contact ballan.ps@education.vic.gov.au to arrange a meeting with your child’s teacher, should you need to raise or address anything regarding you childs accademic progress.
