Principal's Update

Hi Everyone,
It has been a pleasure welcoming our new Foundation families and prospective students into our school over the past few weeks. We have thoroughly enjoyed showcasing everything that makes our school such a wonderful place to learn, from our engaging learning spaces to the warm and supportive culture that exists throughout the school. We are currently finalising our enrolments for 2027, if you or a family you know of, has yet to enrol please contact the school office for a tour and details on how to enrol.
Over the last 2 weeks I have also had the opportunity to welcome teachers and staff from other schools, giving them the opportunity to see the great work happening every day at our school. The feedback we have received from these learning walks has been exceptional -
"We have grown so much as teachers because of the experience and the generosity of you and your staff in opening your classrooms to us. We truly appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and practice. How lucky are we to have had that opportunity!"
"We just wanted to thank you for allowing us to visit your school to watch your amazing teachers deliver their reading lessons. The insight for our own teaching was extremely valuable and has allowed us to embed this model within our own classrooms."
"It is great to see what other teachers on the same year level are doing and I was particularly inspired by the following:
- the variety of reading material in book boxes and the independence with which students managed these
- the differentiation provided for students
- how engaged the students were in their learning and their obvious understanding of expectations and routines
- the well thought out preparation that had obviously been done by the teachers prior to the lesson"
I am always proud to share our school community and the exceptional work our teachers and students are doing, to receive positive feedback such as this proves that the work we are doing is being recognised by others.
Have a great week!
