Dear students, parents and guardians,

What an amazing way to finish Term 3 with our inaugural Reddy Fete!

Throughout the year, students earned SWPB credits by demonstrating positive behaviours and displaying our Reddy values of Resilience, Compassion, Success and Citizenship. These credits were exchanged for tokens that students could spend at the Fete.

As part of Future Reddy, student groups developed their own fete concepts and worked within an allocated budget. It was fantastic to see their creativity, teamwork and hard work come to life in such a positive celebration of our school community.

A huge thank you to Mr. Liam Pain, Ms. Tina Binding, Mrs. Jamie-Lee Nunn, our Future Reddy staff and everyone who helped make the day such a success. It was a wonderful way to celebrate student achievement and finish the term on a high!

It has been a great start to Term 4 at Red Cliffs Secondary College, and it is fantastic to see students and staff settling back into routines as the weather begins to warm up. With a busy few weeks ahead, we encourage everyone to remain positive, focused and committed to finishing the year strongly.

As temperatures rise, it is important that students take care of themselves and stay safe around the school grounds. Please ensure students bring a water bottle, stay hydrated, wear sun protection and seek shade where possible during warmer weather.

Snakes may also become more active as the weather warms up. Students should remain alert when moving around the grounds, avoid approaching or disturbing any snakes they encounter, and notify a staff member immediately if one is spotted.

2027 Sports Academy Uniform Fitting

All students joining our Sports Academy in 2027 are invited to attend our uniform fitting day.

  • Date: Friday, 23 October, 2026
  • Time: 8:30 am – 9:30 am
  • Location: Red Cliffs Secondary College

Students will have the opportunity to try on uniforms and confirm their sizes. The Sports Academy polo is compulsory, with an optional matching training singlet available. All 2027 participants will receive free training shorts and socks.

Order forms will be available on the day, with payment required when ordering. Returning athletes can continue wearing their current uniform, as the design has not changed.

We look forward to getting our 2027 Sports Academy athletes ready for the year ahead!

Next week marks the final week of classes for our Year 12 students. We congratulate them on reaching this important milestone and acknowledge the effort, resilience and commitment they have demonstrated throughout their time at Red Cliffs Secondary College.

A celebration assembly will be held on Thursday to recognise our Year 12 students and provide an opportunity for the school community to farewell them as they prepare for their next chapter. We wish all our graduating students the very best as they move into the next stage of their lives.

VCE examinations commence on Tuesday, 27 October. We wish all our Year 12 students the very best as they begin this important period. Students are encouraged to maintain their revision routines, get plenty of rest and ensure they arrive at examinations prepared and on time.

We also ask all students across the College to remain mindful of the examination period by keeping noise to a minimum around examination areas and respecting the learning environment for those completing exams.

Thank you to all staff, students, parents and guardians for your continued support and hard work throughout the year. The coming weeks are an important time for students to remain settled, engaged and focused on their learning as we approach the end of the school year.

We look forward to a positive and productive Term 4 and encourage everyone to continue demonstrating our College values of Resilience, Compassion, Success and Citizenship.

Kind regards,

Brad Vallance
